- Street drains
- Parks
- Playgrounds
- Off the porch
- Sides of the house
- The cat’s litter box
- Potted plants
- Flower beds
- Coffee cups
- Water guns (especially if they are left to fester in your closet)
I understand that the allure of being able to relieve oneself anywhere is strong. However, this is a responsibility that requires self-control. As you grow, it is vital to recognize the importance of appropriate behavior to avoid future consequences.
To alleviate feelings of deprivation, I will occasionally allow you to write your name in the snow—this can be quite entertaining. However, this should only be done in areas where no one else can see.
In the majority of situations—99.9% of the time—the toilet is the best option. If you’re looking for a way to make it more engaging, consider adding some Cheerios to the bowl for target practice. I’d much prefer to see a few cents spent on cereal than witness the embarrassment of inappropriate urination in public spaces or at home.
This guidance is not intended to dampen your spirit, but rather to impart an essential life lesson that seems to be overlooked. Additionally, please refrain from using any cloth or paper materials as urination targets; that is equally unacceptable.
