The creative force behind the Positively Glittered initiative, Sarah Bell, shares, “It all began with a group of women united by our passion for lingerie and body positivity. We never anticipated how this would evolve.” The goal was to cover ourselves in glitter to showcase our natural beauty—and we did just that.
Photographers Mia Roberts and Alex Torres joined the project, lending their artistic talents to capture these enchanting images. “The original motivation was for the participants to shed their inhibitions, take charge, and celebrate their bodies without the fear of judgment,” Roberts explains. “This is their vision, and I’m thrilled to be part of it.”

“Over time, our focus has shifted more towards celebrating the diversity of women. Each participant brings her own story and reasons for joining,” Bell elaborates. “There’s a significant lack of representation in media, and it’s vital that everyone sees themselves reflected. Our upcoming glitter event will feature over 20 women of various shapes, sizes, and backgrounds—ordinary women celebrating their bodies.”
Who knew a glitter-covered nudity party could be so liberating? I certainly didn’t, but now I’m ready to dive in!
