Rapper duo Cardi B and Offset have officially introduced their newest family member! Meet Wave Set Cephus, born in September 2021. I feel it, and I hope that we always have a great relationship.” Offset, 30, echoed her sentiments, noting, “It’s a blessing to have them all together, and to have a wife who treats them as her own. It could be an issue, but thankfully it’s not, and that’s beautiful.”
In their Essence interview, the couple also explained why they kept Wave’s identity a secret for so long, citing the negativity from online trolls as a major factor. Earlier this year, they made Kulture’s Instagram private after receiving hurtful messages. “We went through a lot of sad things with Kulture,” Cardi said. “People post mean, disgusting things just to get a reaction from us.” Keeping Wave out of the limelight was a decision made to protect their family’s feelings. “We get very, very angry and upset,” Cardi added.
