Do you think the older generation realizes just how much they’ve complicated things for us? Their stubborn adherence to outdated beliefs often drains the positivity and hope from our discussions, doesn’t it? It’s frustrating to sit at family gatherings and hear their archaic views on work ethic, especially from someone like Uncle Bob who has never had to juggle multiple jobs while raising kids.

We, the Gen-Xers and Millennials, are tired of the older generation’s judgments, their outdated perspectives, and their unrealistic expectations of a bygone era. This is especially true for my in-laws, who prioritize their own interests over pressing issues like climate change and social justice.
