Welcome back to the ResistDANCE — our bi-weekly playlist aimed at self-care and fun amidst the chaos of life. The ResistDANCE is all about disconnecting for just an hour, where you can find your rhythm, dance like no one’s watching, and appreciate my fantastic taste in music. If you have ideas for future playlists, feel free to tweet me or leave a comment on our Facebook page. I look forward to your suggestions! We drop new playlists every Friday (or thereabouts).

This week, our playlist is dedicated to the iconic Tina Belcher from Bob’s Burgers.

As the eldest child of Bob and Linda Belcher, Tina embodies authenticity. She’s a fan of butts, Jimmy Jr., erotic friend fiction, and embraces her quirks without hesitation. Like many of us, I find myself awkward and strange — and I’m also a big fan of tunes that celebrate butts!

Tina is not only a devoted sister and caring daughter, but she’s also delightfully unique. She’s imaginative, self-assured, and has a fondness for horses, boys, and music. Tina isn’t shy about her desires, boldly pursuing what she wants while maintaining a sense of humor about life. Her relatable quote, “I’m no hero. I put my bra on one boob at a time, just like everyone else,” is a testament to her charm and makes her an ideal girl crush.

In honor of Tina Belcher, this week’s ResistDANCE playlist features 20 songs and nearly 80 minutes of dance-worthy beats across various genres, including R&B, classic rock, and disco. Expect to groove to hits like Sisqó’s “Thong Song,” Destiny’s Child’s “Bootylicious,” and Queen’s “Fat Bottomed Girls.” You’ll also discover tracks from The Beastie Boys, KC and The Sunshine Band, Wiz Khalifa, Jennifer Lopez, and Pitbull — plus the ultimate classic, Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Baby Got Back.”

So, turn up the volume and enjoy dancing, fellow resisters! If you’re interested in home insemination, check out our post on artificial insemination kits for more information.
