Every mom deserves to discover her own “happy place”—that special spot where the chaos of motherhood fades away, allowing for moments of self-focus. For some, this sanctuary might be a spa day, while for others, it could be wandering the aisles of Target. For aspiring author Emily Harper, however, her blissful retreat is found at Tires, Tires, Tires.

Harper, a dedicated novelist and mother of one, recently faced a creative block with her latest manuscript. Crafting a novel is no small feat, so she sought out a place that would help her concentrate and push through her writing woes. “One day, I took my car for new tires at Tires, Tires, Tires and somehow managed to write 5,000 words in their wonderful waiting area,” she shares on her blog. “It was astonishing! And the atmosphere was delightful—complimentary coffee that was surprisingly good, comfortable seating, free cookies, and a friendly staff. I had discovered my creative haven!”

As a fellow mom and writer who often frequents the local library (which can be quite loud, to say the least), Harper’s experience resonates deeply. Finding those rare moments of tranquility is a challenge for any mother; even simple tasks like using the restroom can feel like a luxury.

Not wanting to abandon her newfound writing oasis, Harper began taking in cars from friends and family for oil changes, and every visit proved fruitful for her creativity. “Who cares if the oil change took 40 minutes while I was there for 6 hours?” she remarks. Unfortunately, she eventually ran out of family members needing oil changes. Fortunately, the staff at Tires, Tires, Tires had caught on to her routine and welcomed her back.

The manager even sent her a text message inviting her to come by any time.

In fact, the tire shop staff appreciated Harper so much that they went above and beyond to support her writing journey. “Not only did they not file a restraining order, but they practically rolled out the red carpet for me,” she recalled. “I felt like J.K. Rowling returning to her favorite café after the Harry Potter series!”

With a “reserved” sign placed just for her, Harper’s heart swelled with joy. To top it all off, Tires, Tires, Tires proudly named her their official “writer in residence.” Can you believe it? The photo shoot for her steamy romance novel took place right there at the tire shop!

Harper’s book, Write Where You Are, draws inspiration from her amusing experiences at Tires, Tires, Tires. “This isn’t about publicity; it’s just a quirky story worth sharing,” she insists. “In a world filled with negative headlines, sometimes you just need to laugh at the oddities in life.”

“After all, finding your peaceful writing nook in a tire store is the epitome of #MomLife,” Harper concluded. “I just wanted to share my joy of discovering my happy writing spot, especially when life can feel overwhelming.”
