Longtime fan favorites Ava Thompson and Jordan Lee from Married At First Sight have joyfully announced the arrival of their first baby, a son they have named baby Reign Lee. The couple, who captured America’s hearts with their genuine chemistry during the arranged marriage experiment, have garnered a combined following of over 500,000 fans. Since their time on the show, supporters have been eager to stay updated on the couple, and the news of their son’s birth has left many thrilled.

The season 11 alumni expressed their excitement to PEOPLE, stating, “We’re overjoyed. It’s all so surreal and still feels like a dream come true. He’s incredibly precious. We had a home delivery, so it was lovely to create that energy ourselves, surrounded by one another and our birthing team,” Ava shared. “It was a special and very intimate experience.”

“So far, his temperament is quite calm,” Ava told E! News. “He’s not fussy at all. Reign loves cuddling and has the sweetest demeanor. He even smiles while he sleeps and gives a little grin. It’s still early, but we think he resembles Jordan more, especially with his eyes. I think he has my nose.” Baby Lee weighed in at six pounds, eight ounces, and measured just over twenty inches long.

Jordan also announced the big news on his personal Instagram, posting an adorable photo of their little one with the caption, “Reign Lee has arrived 👶🏾 My boy is here! #boydad💙 #reignlee #babylee.” His co-star and best friend from the show, Miles Johnson, was one of the first to comment, welcoming the newborn with enthusiasm, “Welcome to the world, young Reign!! There’s so much love for you here!”

The couple previously shared their pregnancy news with PEOPLE back in February, expressing, “We are so blessed to begin this journey into parenthood as we celebrate our second anniversary together.” Ava, 31, revealed she discovered she was pregnant at eight weeks, initially thinking she had food poisoning. She recounted, “Jordan hoped I was expecting. I took a pregnancy test that weekend, and it was negative. After returning home and still feeling nauseous, he convinced me to test again. I reluctantly took another test, and called him into the bathroom. He smiled and said, ‘What, are you pregnant?’”

The Lees are the latest addition to the MAFS family to welcome children, and fans are now speculating about fellow cast members Miles and Karen potentially following suit. You can catch Ava and Jordan on the spin-off show, Married At First Sight: Couple’s Cam, on Lifetime.
