In May 2021, Johnson discovered her son’s serious allergies and the necessity of keeping an EpiPen nearby. “We had a terrifying moment when Leo had an allergic reaction. I still don’t know what triggered it, but it was a parent’s worst nightmare. My kids don’t usually have allergies, so this was a first for us. No matter how many children you have, there are always unexpected moments that catch you off guard,” she shared alongside a photo of her holding Leo. “I learned that acting quickly is essential… don’t wait to see if it improves.
