As an autistic mother who works with autistic youth as a Speech Language Pathologist, I can personally attest to the unwavering love, dedication, and relentless advocacy these mothers embody.
Reflecting on my own experiences, I remember countless times when my mother provided me with a sense of calm during overwhelming social interactions. She would reassure me about my social skills, guiding me with practical advice that sometimes required her to repeat herself multiple times for me to fully grasp. Her patience and support were my anchors.
