Jane Morgan serves as the Deputy Editor at Home Insemination Kit and Romper, where she heads the news and trending teams, oversees social media, and manages the Home Insemination Book Club. In addition to her editorial duties, she frequently writes humor pieces, essays, and original interviews for the platform. As a humorist and stand-up comedian, Jane’s work has been featured in esteemed publications such as The New Yorker, McSweeney’s, National Lampoon, MAD Magazine, Reductress, and Funny or Die. Her insights on comedy, entertainment, and parenting have reached audiences through Vulture, Forbes, USA Today, Vice, The Advocate, Healthline, and Working Mother Magazine, among others. An award-winning journalist, she earned her BA in English from Grinnell College and an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Montana. Furthermore, she is the founder of Revival Comedy, a non-profit that organizes comedy workshops and shows focused on women and marginalized genders. Currently residing in Missoula, Montana, with her two daughters and a few too many cats, Jane has been recognized as Missoula’s Best Stand-Up Comedian for four consecutive years and was recently acknowledged by Thrillist as one of the Best Unknown Comedians in America—an accolade that sounds more like an insult.
