He shared that Leo was diagnosed with hydrocephalus, a condition that causes an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in or around the brain. Jordan recalled noticing unusual symptoms, stating, “I always noticed he had a cough, so I wanted to have it checked. By the time he was two months old, I noticed his head was larger than expected. We thought it would be a routine check-up.”
Sadly, Leo’s condition deteriorated over the Thanksgiving holiday, and he passed away on December 5, 2021. After discussing his grief on his show, Jordan shared with the audience, “People keep asking me how I’m holding up; I say, ‘I’m standing, and that’s a good start.’ Yesterday was somewhat easier because I was focused and numb, just getting through the day. Today, I feel more torn and confused. It’s a painful experience.”
