When I reflect on my journey to motherhood, it’s clear that my life was filled with other priorities first. As a busy journalist, I was more focused on deadlines than diaper changes. But then, at age 40, I turned to my partner one day and declared, “It’s now or never.” Miraculously, just five months later, it was indeed time to embrace motherhood.
