The devastating shootings at spas in the Atlanta area have claimed eight lives, with all the victims’ identities now revealed. On that fateful day, seven of the victims were women, six of whom were of Asian descent, and they fell victim to an act of anti-Asian violence. The shooter targeted three spas in the Atlanta vicinity, and here are the names of those who tragically lost their lives.
The first incident occurred at Young’s Asian Massage in Acworth, Georgia, where four individuals were killed and another wounded, according to authorities. The remaining four victims, all Asian women of Korean heritage, were shot at two spas located across the street from each other.

A veteran, Paul has left his family in shock after his untimely death. Friends described him as a kind-hearted individual. - Soon Chung Park, 74
Soon was reported to be an employee at Gold Spa. - Hyun Jung Grant, 51
A dedicated single mother, Hyun Jung worked at Gold Spa. Her son has initiated a GoFundMe campaign to assist with living expenses, which has raised over $2 million. - Suncha Kim, 69

A licensed massage therapist, Yong’s son expressed his desire for her to be recognized as a valuable member of the community.
Among the victims, only one person survived the assault: Elcias R. Hernandez-Ortiz, who is recovering after sustaining serious injuries. A GoFundMe has been created to help with his medical expenses, raising over $37,000.
The shooter, 21-year-old Robert Aaron Long, has been charged with multiple counts of murder. While his motivations are still being examined, he cited personal struggles as a factor in his actions. The incident has sparked significant outrage and renewed discussions surrounding anti-Asian violence, which has surged in recent years.
