Jenna Roberts and Mark Williams have given the world a peek into their astonishingly minimalistic abode, and the internet can’t seem to decide what to make of it. Each time they share images on social media, online audiences are left awestruck, as their home resembles a modern art museum more than a family residence. Recently featured in Architectural Digest, the couple has opened the doors to nearly every corner of their home, prompting a collective reaction of, “Yep, still looks like a gallery.”
Mark describes their home as embodying a “futuristic Belgian monastery” aesthetic, a term that might raise some eyebrows. Despite being nestled in suburbia, the design is anything but ordinary. Vervoordt claims, “the proportions are the decoration,” and if that works for them, who are we to judge? The couple aims for their residence to serve as a tranquil sanctuary for their family, and if a hallway that echoes brings them peace, then so be it.
Jenna shares, “Mark and I both appreciate a neutral palette. I love the simplicity of the design. Everything outside is chaotic, and I crave a serene space to unwind.” However, one might question how their children find joy in such a minimalist environment. Mark insists that their kids enjoy the space, claiming they ride scooters down the hallways and leap onto the low tables designed by Axel, turning them into stages for imaginative play. The playroom, in true Mark fashion, doubles as an art installation.
Naturally, the online community responded with mixed feelings—some fans adored the house, particularly the charming pink room for their daughter, Bella. Their backyard resembles a luxurious spa, and in a humorous twist, Jenna mentioned she hasn’t even taken a dip in their pristine pool yet—#RichPeopleProblems. Ultimately, what matters is that Jenna, Mark, and the kids are content navigating the expansive, empty halls of their stark art gallery they call home.
