In a twist nobody saw coming, Groupon has become a central figure in the drama surrounding the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 14 reunion. While we’re all eagerly anticipating the “meltdown of the century,” the reunion has already outdone the entire season in just two episodes, primarily due to Vicki Gunvalson’s antics and the unexpected appearance of Groupon.
The Star of the Show: Vicki Gunvalson
Let’s kick things off with the star of the show—Vicki. Part one of the reunion didn’t really heat up until she made her entrance, which says a lot considering she was demoted to “friend of” this season. Vicki certainly made her presence known with a dramatic backstage outburst before sitting beside host Andy Cohen. She staunchly asserted that RHOC wouldn’t exist without her, a claim that was promptly challenged by her co-stars and viewers alike on social media.
Groupon’s Unexpected Role
But the drama didn’t stop there. In an unexpected twist, Groupon made a splash in the reunion conversation. During the episode, Tamara Judge accused Kelly Dodd of having clearance items in her beverage business, Positive Beverage. Kelly quickly fired back, revealing that Tamara and her husband Eddie utilized Groupon for their gym, Cut Fitness. Just when we thought it was over, Groupon shared a screenshot of Cut Fitness’ deal page the very next day with a cheeky post: “We’re just gonna leave this right here.” The tweet, which has since been deleted, prompted a response from cast member Emily Simpson, who praised Groupon and its clever timing.
Part Two of the Reunion
Fast forward to part two of the reunion, where the women debated whether Tamara was the season’s ultimate instigator (which she absolutely was). Kelly expressed feeling cornered, prompting Shannon Beador to voice her concerns about Kelly’s paranoia. The conversation soon shifted to the lawsuit involving Shannon, Tamara, and Jim Bellino, who sued the duo for discussing his divorce on a podcast. “They can’t take accountability or say sorry,” Kelly remarked during part two.
We also witnessed a recap of the ongoing feud between Kelly and Vicki, fueled by rumors and harsh exchanges. Emily noted that they both have a penchant for defensive fighting, which is true. After some tension, Andy asked Kelly if she could ever reconcile with Vicki, and to our surprise, she showered Vicki with compliments, wishing her well. Behind the scenes, they even shared a hug—twice!
Vicki’s Legacy
However, the reunion wasn’t done throwing curveballs. Vicki continued to assert her importance to the show, reminding everyone of her 15-year legacy. “Turn it down,” she snapped at Braunwyn Windham-Burke after Braunwyn challenged her earlier comments.
So, gear up for more drama, folks. The much-anticipated meltdown from Vicki is set to unfold in part three, airing on December 26.
