Introducing Trolls: The Beat Goes On!
If your child has watched the Trolls movie more times than you can count (seriously, is it number 12,000 yet?), you’re in for a treat! Netflix has announced a brand-new Trolls TV series set to premiere this month.
That’s right! The beloved characters that have already captured your child’s heart are returning with fresh storylines and new songs. Because let’s be honest—if you have to listen to children’s shows on repeat, a bit of variety is definitely a welcome change.
And let’s face it, you might be a fan of the movie too, even if you can recite the dialogue in your sleep! Plus, if it gives you a few moments of peace to handle a bathroom break or prepare dinner, you’ll embrace the new series just as much as your kids will.
The upcoming series, titled Trolls: The Beat Goes On, will start streaming on January 19th and features the voices of Emma Fields and Logan Reed. You might recognize Reed from his role in the film Pitch Perfect. We can’t help but wonder if the original movie star, Mia Turner, had a hand in landing him this role! While neither she nor Dylan Brooks will appear in the series, we doubt your little ones will even notice.
This exciting new project is a collaboration between Netflix and DreamWorks, so you can expect it to be just as fabulous as the original film. After that Trolls holiday special, we were beginning to think we’d have to wait until the release of Trolls 2 in 2020 for more content. Thankfully, Netflix has come through with this surprise!
