I have a deep love for fashion. Shopping brings me immense joy, and there’s nothing quite like returning home with bags full of outfits I adore. When I find myself in a slump, a little retail therapy—especially at a place like Forever 21—does wonders for my mood.
Recently, while at the mall with my family, I announced I was stepping out of Macy’s to explore Forever 21. “What do you need from there?” one relative asked, as if I were too old to shop at such a place.
I’m 31 years old, a mother of two, and yes, I drive a minivan. But I plan to shop at Forever 21 until I’m six feet under, surrounded by all the trendy, affordable pieces I’ve collected over the years.

I choose styles that make me feel confident and happy, regardless of what society or my relatives think. Today, I rocked patterned leggings and a Chewbacca t-shirt with sunglasses. My bralette peeked out intentionally, and I felt fantastic.
