This enchanting spa, opened this month on the GKTW grounds, is already creating smiles for kids and their caregivers alike with a range of exciting services. Pamela Green, the President & CEO of GKTW, expressed her enthusiasm in a recent announcement, stating, “We’re thrilled to introduce this new experience for our guests. Kids can transform into whatever they dream of at the spa, while their families can maintain their fitness routines. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Hasbro for their generous support, which made this amazing facility possible.”
The spa is not only adorable; it’s a hub of fun! Thanks to a $150,000 contribution from Hasbro, Inc., the spa was inspired by Twinkle Hope, a character from the beloved My Little Pony series. This funding has allowed for extended hours and enhanced services, including the addition of a fitness center called the G.I. Joe Gym. Kids can indulge in whimsical makeovers while their parents break a sweat.
The spa menu is filled with exciting options! Offerings include airbrush tattoos, face painting, hand massages, manicures, and makeup services, plus a “crazy hair” station where volunteers assist kids in styling their hair with colored sprays, chalks, flowers, and tiaras. Previously available only on a limited basis, these delightful services can now be enjoyed by every child visiting the village, complete with a special selfie booth for capturing those magical moments.
