This creative approach allowed Mark to partake in a momentous occasion from afar. Their baby, Emma, was welcomed into the world shortly after, with Mark making it back just in time! Although Emma faced some minor breathing issues and spent time in the NICU, the family remains hopeful. “We’re eager for Emma to be stable and home with Sarah before Mark’s next deployment. We also can’t wait for newborn photos featuring Mark and Emma together,” Mia shared.

Mia’s experience with this shoot has renewed her passion for photography. Yet, her hopes extend beyond just going viral. “When people see these pictures, I want them to remember to thank our soldiers for their service and feel the love that resonates from this family.
