A Mother’s Heartwarming Response to Her Daughter’s Insecurity About Her Looks

As a devoted parent, Sarah had been purposeful in steering her two young daughters away from an obsession with appearance. Instead of showering them with compliments about their looks, she focused on expressing her love through different means. This approach seemed to yield positive results; her daughters never sought validation about their appearance and simply enjoyed being themselves.
However, one day, everything changed. When her daughter Emma expressed concern, saying, “But my cheeks are so round,” Sarah replied, “Really? To me, you just look like Emma. And when I see you, I see my wonderful girl.”
In her own words, Sarah shared, “‘But they’re so round,’ she insisted, poking her cheeks with her little fingers. ‘Well,’ I chuckled, ‘you only have one body, so you might as well embrace it and have fun with it.’”
