Loving you is both effortless and challenging. My affection for you flows naturally, so much so that I hardly notice it. Yet, the daily grind of waking up at all hours, chasing after you, ensuring your safety, and nurturing your growth—it’s no small feat.

I wouldn’t change a thing about you… except for the delightful mess of “art” you create with your poop. Seriously, let’s keep that to a minimum, okay?

I wish for you to grow up while also wishing you could stay little forever. Can you manage to learn how to pour your own cereal and use the potty, but still be young enough to snuggle with your awesome mom?

I strive to be the best mom I can be. I know I stumble, but your love makes it all worthwhile, especially when you poke your adorable little face into mine saying, “Wake up, Mom!” That’s an instant motivation to rise and brew some coffee.

Your imagination is something I envy. To you, the fan is an airplane, the clouds are rocket trails, and your blanket transforms into a train car. And let’s not forget, your mom is a superhero who can do anything! Keep that beautiful creativity alive for as long as possible.

If you hear me expressing how much I crave a date night, a long shower, or just a moment of peace, know that when I finally get those chances, you’re always on my mind. I miss you dearly every moment I’m away.
