What a whirlwind of a week it has been! I absolutely adore book launches, and I’m thrilled to announce that “Motherhood Comes Naturally” has officially hit the shelves! A heartfelt thank you to Emma Lee, the owner of Willow’s Tea Room, for hosting the most enchanting launch tea in NYC. If you’re in the city, you must visit Emma’s delightful spots—they’re perfect for a lunch date with friends, a cozy afternoon snack, or even an unforgettable birthday celebration. And let’s talk about their scones! As someone who never cared for them, I’ve now become a devoted fan. They are simply irresistible.
Every guest left with a fabulous goody bag that included not only my latest book but also my debut title (big thanks to HarperCollins!). The bags were filled with fantastic treats, a coupon from Sunny Delights, a spin class voucher from Cycle Life, and some stylish frames from Craft & Frame. Talk about lucky attendees!
I also want to extend my gratitude to Kevin Smith Photography, who graciously captured the event and reminded me to keep my posture in check. Now that’s what I call a dedicated photographer! Just a few days later, back in Baltimore, my amazing friends at Charm City Playhouse opened their doors on their day off for another launch party. How sweet was that? We were treated to a fantastic breakfast courtesy of Oats & Honey, while the duo from the band Rainbow Rock entertained our small crowd, and I happily signed books for their moms.
A huge thank you to Lily Johnson for snapping such beautiful photos during the event. She was an absolute delight to work with, and I truly appreciate her creativity and enthusiasm.
