As a parent revisiting the world of childhood, I’ve discovered that some things are even more delightful than I remembered. Grilled cheese sandwiches? Absolutely divine now! - Remember, we’re not playmates here. You have your friends, and I have mine at the playground.

- Hide and seek? Not at home! Please don’t bring that to the playground.
- No need to shout “LOOK AT ME!!!” every few seconds. I’m (mostly) watching and will catch the next amazing feat.
- Please don’t ask me to do the see-saw. I don’t need reminding of my weight.
- Avoid anything that could lead to an ER visit. If that happens, we might not return.
- Do not tell me you’re bored. I can assure you, you’ll find home even more dull!
