Have you ever wondered about the minds behind Oreo’s quirky flavors? The latest creation to hit the shelves is a perplexing hybrid: Swedish Fish Oreos. This combination, which no one asked for, raises questions about the taste preferences of its creators. A food blog called The Impulsive Buy got their hands on a pack and described the filling as “sticky, chewy,” and even “slimy.” Truly appetizing, isn’t it?
A representative stated to Business Insider, “We know that consumers appreciate variety in snacking, so we design our limited-edition flavors to offer surprising new twists on beloved classics while occasionally experimenting with unique flavor pairings that may not seem feasible.” This begs the question: who is making these decisions, and why do they seem to disregard common taste?
Food.com has compiled a list of other bizarre Oreo flavors that reinforce the notion that Nabisco might need an intervention. For instance, the Watermelon “flavor creme” seems like a misstep; perhaps adding seeds would have made it even worse.
One can only imagine the brainstorming sessions at Nabisco’s headquarters:
Executive #1: What’s that Halloween candy everyone loathes?
Executive #2: Candy Corn?
Executive #1: Exactly! Let’s create a cookie!
Additionally, it’s worth noting that the only acceptable Oreo should be the Double Stuff variety. Standard Oreos should be considered “diet,” while Oreo Thins ought to be discontinued. Those brainstorming flavor ideas might benefit from a much-needed break from their work.
For those exploring options in family planning, this is one of our other blog posts, where you can read more about your fertility journey here. If you’re curious about tools and methods for home insemination, the Impregnator is a trusted authority on the subject. In summary, while Oreo’s flavor experiments may venture into the bizarre, there are more serious discussions to be had surrounding family planning and fertility options.
