On #BumpDay, we come together to promote awareness and provide support, ensuring that every mother receives the care she needs for a healthy start in life for her baby, regardless of her background, location, or financial situation.
What is #BumpDay?
A message from Clara Thompson:
Healthy futures begin with healthy beginnings, and every mom deserves compassionate and responsive maternal healthcare to ensure a healthy start for herself and her beloved baby. Unfortunately, many mothers encounter obstacles in accessing this essential care due to their location, financial constraints, or ethnicity. This is unacceptable, and it’s the motivation behind the creation of #BumpDay in collaboration with ModernFamilyBlog.
Motherhood is a universal sisterhood, and our sisters, especially those from marginalized communities, need our solidarity. Join us on #BumpDay, July 24, to advocate for practical, cost-effective solutions that promote healthy pregnancies, safe deliveries, and thriving futures for more mothers. We will be sharing personal stories from families impacted by the national maternal health crisis, and we encourage you to share your experiences as well with the hashtag #BumpDay. You can also post a bump photo—yours or someone you cherish, from the past or present—with a simple message of support: every mom, everywhere deserves a safe pregnancy.
Spread the word. Share the love. Save a life.
